Music That Moves Us – Albums That Are A Soundtrack To Our Lives
Sony Music
Yesterday, It was movies. Today we look at some of the record albums that stand out as part of my life's soundtrack.
Bayou Country - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Probably the first real rock and roll album I ever owned. I loved the single "Proud Mary", but when I heard "Born On The Bayou" and that John Fogerty growl. I became a lifelong fan.
Fantasy Records
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
A Day In The Life. What more can I say?
Apple Records
Touchdown - Bob James
The TV sitcom "Taxi" was one of my favorites. The Bob James composition "Angela" was used as the theme song. I got this album for that song, and was blown away by the fusion jazz sound of the late 70's. I still have this loaded in my mp3 player.
Columbia Records
Quincy Jones - The Dude
The music of Quincy Jones. The vocals of James Ingraham. Candlelight. A Yakima summer night. Need I say more?
A & M Records
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
Black Dog, Rock And Roll, Battle Of Evermore, Stairway To Heaven. And that's just side one.
Atlantic Records
