HERMISTON, Ore. (AP) — Another 178 jobs will be cut as operations shut down at the Umatilla Chemical Depot.

The Washington Demilitarization Co. told Oregon officials that engineering, maintenance and administrative jobs will be cut in February.

The Oregonian reports this is the fourth round of layoffs since the shutdown started in October 2011 when workers destroyed the depot's final ton of mustard agent.
