Really?  Do we need this?  More importantly, will you watch?

CBS TV Studios is planning a miniseries based on the book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, written by former FBI Director James Comey.

Less than four months after taking office in 2017, President Trump fired Comey and that played an important role in launching Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation. That fizzled. Will a production based on that fizzle too?

The Hollywood Reporter says that Jeff Daniels will star as Comey.  Seems like the right choice because Daniels is no fan of Donald Trump. The Week reports Daniels has call Trump "morally unfit to be president, " while the director of the miniseries believes Daniels is the "only person who could play Jim Comey."   Director Billy Ray says he instantly picked up on Daniels "integrity, loads of warmth, intelligence, complexity and gravitas." Yah, that's just how I see James Comey - NOT!

The Mueller Investigation lasted more than two years and so now we get a four hour second helping?

Production on the four-hour miniseries will begin next month, but no release date has been set, and the studio reportedly hasn't decided whether it will air on CBS All Access, Showtime or both. Stay tuned? And stay tuned for the Inspector General's report too.
