March Expects Thousands In Yakima

Hundreds, possibly thousands of people are expected to march on May 1, at 5:00 p.m. at Yakima's Miller Park. The May Day marchers will be joined by those from Occupy Wall Street, and will follow a route through downtown. After the march, a number of speakers will talk about immigration reform.

Members of the conservative group Grassroots of Yakima will also hold a counter protest against illegal immigration at the corner of First Street and Yakima Avenue.
