
Man in Custody Following Killing of Northern Idaho Woman
SPOKANE (AP) — A 41-year-old man being sought by police in connection with the killing of a 78-year-old woman in northern Idaho has been arrested in Washington state.
The Bonner County Sheriff's Office tells KHQ-TV that police arrested Nathan Utt in Spokane, Washington, on Friday evening.
Officials say he's a suspect in the killing of Shirley Ann Ramey of Hope, Idaho.
Police responded to a residence on Thursday on a report of an unresponsive woman who was discovered by her husband.
Police determined Ramey had died and named Utt, a transient in the Sandpoint area, as a suspect.
