Local Kid Brings Gun to School, Apparently Just to Show It Off

In Wapato a 15-year-old student brought a loaded handgun to school to show to his friends then take pictures with it.

Who knows what motivated him to do this. I don't know what crowd he was trying to convince he was cool, but when he was caught he willingly gave up the weapon and complied with the authorities.

He will be tried in Juvenile Court. Read more for details.
