
Local Brewers Join Forces For ALS Research
Brewers around the country are joining forces to support research for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that leads to paralysis,due to the death of motor neurons in the spinal cord and brain. It has had a devastating impact on the Hanses family in the Yakima Valley. Local brewers Cheryl Hanses Smith and her husband Mike will be on "The Mike Bastinelli Show, " to talk about what brewers are doing to help ALS research. Also today Dale Carpenter will give us an update on his battle with cancer , plus his autistic son Blake shows us that he is a master of sports trivia.
