The Trumppolitical machine -- unorthodox and unstoppable -- continues to roll across the countryside  with “The Donald”  taking Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, likely winning Missouri and coming within 7 percent of Gov. John Kasich in Ohio.

In many ways he’s like Gen. George Patton streaking across Europe in 1944 and 1945.  In fact, Tim Bryce, our businessman, consultant, blogger buddy and KIT contributor’s latest column makes a case for a legitimate Patton-Trump comparison.

“Back in 1970, actor George C. Scott portrayed General George S. Patton of World War II fame. The opening monologue in "Patton" was memorable and set the tone for the general’s character in the movie. At the time, the speech was considered rough and crude. So much so, it wasn’t unusual for some viewers to walk out of the theater after only the opening sequence….The parallel between Patton and Donald J. Trump is uncanny.  Trump is politically incorrect and doesn’t sugar-coat his position on anything. Like Patton, he relies on offense when conducting business or campaigning for president. And as should be obvious by now, this election is not politics as usual, this is war .”

It’s an interesting analogy and we encourage you to check it out at http://timbryce.com/  and continue to follow Trump’s own political blitzkrieg  to the nomination 6-9 weekdays on KIT’s Morning News.
