Lawsuit Filed Against Sunnyside School District

A lawsuit has been filed against the Sunnyside School District on behalf of a former wrestling coach who says she was discriminated against because she was a woman. Amber Rodriguez claims she was terminated because she complained about harassment. In the lawsuit filed this week against the district Rodriguez says she faced retaliation for reporting the alleged harassment. The Associated Press reports Rodriguez says she was denied being reinstated as a coach in April of last year after being hired in 2014.
