Rep. Bruce Chandler, R-Granger, and Rep. Jeremie Dufault, R-Selah, are inviting 15th District citizens to join them Tuesday, April 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a telephone town hall.

“This is a great way to connect with residents back home and hear their concerns and opinions firsthand,” said Chandler. “I'm looking forward to a constructive discussion on many state issues including water and water storage, the budget, health care, mental health, education and more.”

“My most important job is to listen to the people I represent,” said Dufault. “I look forward to talking about how what is happening in Olympia will impact us in Yakima County and answering questions from my friends and neighbors.”

The telephone town hall is conducted much like a radio call-in program. Chandler and Dufault will give a legislative update and then take callers' questions.

People who wish to participate may call (509) 204-4354 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2. Callers may listen to the program and may ask a question by pressing the STAR (*) key on their telephone keypads.
