Judge Puts NFL on Notice

NEW YORK (AP) — The federal judge overseeing the Tom Brady-NFL lawsuit has warned the league that he can erase the four-game suspension given Brady if the two sides fail to negotiate a deal. Judge Richard Berman told NFL attorneys there is precedent for him to overturn an arbitration ruling and again urged the two sides to reach a settlement before the next hearing on Aug. 31.
