Yakima Locals Are Still Frustrated Over Lack of Bank of America Branches
BOA Customers: Are you still frustrated you can't get to a convenient ATM or talk to a real human like you used to? You are not alone. Here's some timely advice you can use. Switching over your direct deposit to a new financial institution could be easier than you think.
If you've been considering switching to a new bank, one that has convenient locations, no ATM fees, and has in-person bank tellers, it's easier now to change your direct deposit to a new financial institution, especially in our post-COVID age of heightened digital convenience.
Feel too Overwhelmed to Change Your Old Bank of America Direct Deposit to a New Bank? You're Not Alone

A Great Banking Tip You Can Actually Use
Solarity Credit Union CEO Mina Worthington says stranded Bank of America customers in Yakima like me shouldn't feel overwhelmed anymore to switch over direct deposits, especially in our age of digital convenience.

"Switching your banking relationship is probably easier than you realize; there are really only 3 or 4 pieces of information that you need to deliver to your HR department in order to have your direct deposit service switched," she says. "And if you have any problems, any bank will be able to help you."
Basically, all we need to send to HR is our current direct deposit routing number and bank account number,; these can be found easily inside your Bank of America app.
