It’s A Party In Downtown Yakima This Summer

If you are looking for a hotspot in Yakima this summer city officials say it is downtown. Beginning on June 7, the new Lunchtime Live Concert Series will kick off a run of 13 consecutive Friday shows, all of which will happen from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm at Performance Park next to the Yakima County Courthouse at 2 Street and A Street. Yakima restaurants will be on hand selling a variety of to-go food. the series will feature local musicians and will run through August 30.

Music will also be the focal point of the free Thursday evening Downtown Summer Nights Concert Series. Townsquare Media has partnered with the city and Legends Casino to produce the family friendly series, which will start on June 13 and run through August 29. Craft vendors, kids activities, food booths run by local restaurants, and a beer and wine garden will fill 4 Street behind the Capitol Theatre during the 11 Downtown Summer Nights events.
