NEW YORK (AP) — In the fairy tale Snow White, there was the "mirror, mirror" on the wall who was asked who was the fairest of them all. Soon, the mirror on the wall of some dressing rooms will provide answers, too — like what jeans will work well with the shirt you are trying on. Some upscale retailers are testing these high-tech fitting room mirrors. They combine product information with images to give you clothing combinations to consider buying. In some cases, the smart mirrors will even let you see how a garment will fit — without you having to undress. While it sounds intriguing, some consumer advocates are concerned about privacy issues — noting that people peering into a dressing room mirror might be spooked by the idea that the mirror might be looking right back at them.
