Homes Sales Still Strong During COVID-19
7 months into the COVID-19 pandemic and real estate is still strong. According to Cory Beemis The owner of Yakima's John L. Scott Real Estate. He says the current home sales price is steady at $275,000 which is more than an 11% increase from 2019.
Beemis says 180 total homes sold in September which is a 9.1% increase from the 165 homes that sold in September of 2019.
There have been 1,372 total homes sold in 2020. That's a 4.3% increase from last year.

Beemis says the BIGGEST news for Yakima Real Estate today is that Realtors are now allowed to host open houses with up to 5 people on a property at once under COVID-19 guidelines.
