Help Out The Mission – Help Yourself To Sweet Shopping Deals

Yakima's Union Gospel Mission needs our help to fill Thanksgiving food boxes to be giving away later this month. Mission Executive Director Mike Johnson says between now and Saturday they're asking for food donations to be dropped off at the mission's two thrift stores, YUGM Thrift located at 2011 West Lincoln and the Old Lighthouse thrift store at 15 South Front Street.
They have a few specific needs. They're looking for turkeys, cool whip, canned corn and green beans and canned cranberries. Here's the sweet second half of the deal - your donations will earn you reduced price coupons for shopping at each of the thrift stores. The food collected will be given to people during the ThanksGiveAway event at Stone Church on November 24th.
