The Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce awards gala was held Thursday night at the Yakima Convention Center where people were honored for their commitment to business and the community. Rick Pinnell was the recipient of the Ted Robertson Community Service Award.
Jon Ison, the Veteran and Military Affairs Committee Chair with the Chamber was honored as the Chamber Volunteer of The Year.
The Yakima Humane Society recieved the Non-Profit of The Year Award.
Hoptown Pizza was named the Emerging Business of The Year.
Kellie Connaughton, Executive Director of the Yakima Greenway was named Chamber Member of The Year. And Yakima's Cowiche Canyon restaurant was given the Business of The Year Award.
