DO PUMP DIESEL?

THE AVERAGE COST OF GAS IN WA IS UNCHANGED FROM LAST WEEK
Within Washington State, average gas prices sit at $4.06 per gallon, showing no change from the previous week. For residents seeking more affordable options in the Yakima Valley, the cheapest gas can be found at Wheelers Kountry Korner in Wapato, priced at $3.08 per gallon as of Sunday. Costco in Union Gap is offering gas at $3.17 per gallon, providing another competitive option for local drivers.
SO WHAT IS IMPACTING GAS PRICES?
As consumers navigate these fluctuating gas prices, they are faced with a complex landscape influenced by various factors. "The national average price of gasoline has returned to a slight climb over the last week, primarily attributed to ongoing geopolitical tensions and their impact on supply," explained Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. "While the situation in Florida, where a storm has disrupted supply chains, has not yet affected prices significantly, restoration efforts are underway. If oil prices continue to drop, we may see a decline in gas prices in the coming weeks, possibly leading to the first sub-$3 average nationwide since 2021."
