WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — The U.S. Military Academy will honor actor Gary Sinise. The veteran actor will get the award at a ceremony at West Point on Oct. 22. The award is given to citizens who serve the national interest. Aside from starring in movies like "Forrest Gump" and in the TV show "CSI: New York," Sinise has done a lot of work to advocate for service members — and performs for troops.
