SOME CONSERVATIVE VOTERS SAY THEY WERE HOPING DR. GARCIA WOULD ENDORSE DONALD TRUMP
Dr. Garcia is hoping Republicans support his candidacy against the longtime democratic lawmaker, but many may have concerns after he refused to say whether he supports former President Donald Trump against current President Joe Biden.
During an interview with KIT News on Thursday, Garcia told KIT News that he watched the recent debate and as a doctor, he felt bad that America is in this "situation."
DR. GARCIA SAYS BOTH CANDIDATES NEED TO BE ENJOYING RETIREMENT
He says we are forcing two men that should be in retirement into service for the country.
When asked if he supports Donald Trump and his policies in the presidential election, Dr. Garcia told KIT News, "as of now I've said I'm not going to endorse any president in that race."
He continued by saying that he doesn't want to get "into the weeds" of the race because "we know in Washington what the outcome will be."
DR. GARCIA SAYS HE'LL SUPPORT THE AGENDA OF WHOEVER IS ELECTED
Dr. Garcia finished the Thursday morning interview stressing that whoever is elected as president, "I'm going to support their agenda, because that's the job of Congress."
Some listeners contacted KIT immediately after the interview saying they were surprised he didn't show support for former president Donald Trump.
