Fresh Hop Ale Festival Grants To Benefit Non-Profits

If you attended the Fresh Hop Ale Festival this past summer in Yakima you helped fund arts, music and science-based activities. Officials with the Fresh Hop Group,  the non-profit organization that produces the annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival  has announced applications for its grant program designed to assist non-profit organizations in Yakima County are now being accepted. The grant program is now in it's 4th year. Last year, the Fresh Hop Group awarded $104,000 in grants.
Funding for the grants came from proceeds from Yakima’s annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival, which has been named one of the top 10 beer festivals in the nation by Americas Best Online, Suds Magazine, Seattle Beer News, and other industry publications. The Fresh Hop Group say they'll make awards in excess of $115,000 this year.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, December 31. Grant awards will be made in early March 2019.
