Free Crime Prevention Workshop Set For Wednesday October 18 At Convention Center

If you own a business you’re invited to a free Crime Prevention Workshop next Wednesday October 18^th at the Yakima Convention Center. A coalition of six businesses along with community organizations like Safe Yakima Valley and Yakima Valley Tourism are presenting the workshop where they’ll talk about among other topics shoplift prevention, employee theft, reporting suspicious and criminal behavior and dealing with unwanted guests. Yakima police officers Sam Masters and Frank Bowersox along with Code Administration Manager Joe Caruso will speak and answer questions during the free workshop. It’s set for 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18^th at the Yakima Convention Center.
