Did you hear what I heard? What has now become a holiday tradition in the Yakima Valley has now been, by popular demand, extended for four more fabulous days.

The Second Annual Holiday Light Fest, presented by Yakima Federal Savings & Loan, will add additional dates later this month to run December 16th – December 19th at State Fair Park in Yakima.

What is the Drive-Thru Holiday Light Fest at Fairgrounds in Yakima?

The Holiday Light Fest drive-thru features 19 holiday-themed displays. Three of these are new this year – Dino Land, Rock’ n Christmas, and a second drive-thru light tunnel. More food and beverage options are also available.

Has the Drive-Thru Holiday Light Fest in Yakima Been Extended?

Yes! According to their press release this week, back by popular demand is the answer.

“We heard loud and clear the community wanted us to extend the drive-thru event and have it open to enjoy closer to the Christmas Holiday,” said CEO Kramer.

Is the Holiday Village in the Sundome Still Happening?

CEO Kathy Kramer says:

As part of the decision to extend the Holiday Light Fest, State Fair Park will be postponing Holiday Village in the SunDome scheduled for later this month until 2022. This allows us more time to continue planning and preparing for the Holiday Village’s debut in the market next year. As for 2021, we look forward to the community having four more days in which to enjoy the Holiday Light Fest.

What is the Cost of Admission to the Holiday Light Fest?

General Entry admission will be $10 per vehicle and $20 for limo, bus, or RV. Also new this year, the HLF Fast Pass. A limited number of HLF Fast Passes will be sold online in advance for each night. Fast Pass holders will enter separately through Gate 1 off Fair Avenue and only vehicles that have purchased the Fast Pass will be allowed through this entrance, providing preferred entry and a shorter wait time to enter the event. The HLF Fast Pass will be $20.00 per vehicle and $40.00 for limo, bus, or RV. The HLF Fast Pass must be purchased online in advance.

When do Gates Open and Where do you Enter at the Drive-Thru Holiday Light Fest?

Gates will open at 4:30 pm with drive-thru hours from 5 pm – 9 pm each night. Entry is easy, General Entry ticket holders will enter via Nob Hill to 18th Street, then enter Gate 15, located by the Yakima County Baseball Stadium.
