One policy bill that could make a comeback during the Special Session is the state's DREAM Act.

A spokesperson for OneAmerica, a pro-immigration reform group said the bill is referenced in the House Budget, which essentially keeps it alive.

The move means the Senate's Majority Coalition Caucus could get a second chance to consider it, giving local immigration reform advocates some hope.

"We see it as being a tremendous opportunity for the legislature to pass and very much that the bill is alive and well," said Emily Murphy, the Policy Manager for OneAmerica.

However, there is still a chance the Senate's Majority Coalition could once again choose not to vote on the measure this session, killing its chances until next year.
