Despite Rumors There’s No Coronavirus Cases In Yakima

The Yakima Health District usually doesn't deal in rumors. But district officials say rumors are circulating around Yakima that there's cases of the deadly Novel Coronavirus diagnosed in the area.
They say the rumors are completely false. There are no confirmed or suspected cases of Novel Coronavirus in Yakima County.
On January 21, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Washington State Department of Health announced the first case of Coronavirus in Snohomish County. The patient had recently returned from Wuhan City China. That's the only known case in Washington State. While other tests are pending no other cases have been identified and no cases or suspected cases of the virus have been found in Yakima County.
