Despite COVID-19 ICE Flights Continue in Yakima

Despite the concerns about COVID-19 ICE or Immigration and Customs Enforcement flights continue at the Yakima Air Terminal McCallister Field. The planes land every Tuesday. The flight takes the detainees from Yakima to Las Vegas where they board planes to be deported out of the country. Thousands of detainees have traveled on the flights before being flown out of the United States.
The protests against the flights continue at the airport as well but only a handful of people continue to protest.

The flights have been responsible for deporting thousands of detainees out of the United States over the last five years.
