OSO, Wash. (AP) — Fire crews are battling a roughly 55-acre wildfire that began Thursday evening several miles west of Oso.

KIRO reports that firefighters from Snohomish County and the Department of Natural Resources are tackling the blaze off that began around 6 p.m.

A DNR spokesman tells KOMO that the fire is burning along a slope in a logging area off Highway 530. Investigators haven't yet determined the cause of the fire.

There are no reported injuries.
