The investigation into what started the Coyote Creek fire above Terrace Heights last Friday continues. Yakima County Fire Marshal Chris Pederson says she's working closely with the Yakima County Sheriff's office to find answers to questions about what she calls the human caused fire. Answers that could lead to possible arrests and charges. "That's a potential if we can prove the fire was intentionally set."
Nearly 100 homes were threatened by the fire late Friday and early Saturday above Terrace Heights but no structures burned. 400 acres of grass and brush were burned in the fire.
The cause of the Rattlesnake Ridge fire also remains under investigation.
