COVID-19 Testing Requirements Eased in Yakima County
Yakima Health District officials say they're opening COVID-19 testing to anyone with COVID-19 symptoms. Previously the testing was for those in high risk groups and healthcare workers. District spokeswoman Lillian Bravo says it's the most "liberal application of local testing guidelines." Bravo says if anyone has symptoms of the virus they're encouraged to make an appointment for testing at the Yakima Valley Sundome. The testing ends on Friday. You can register at yakimahealthdistrict.org or by calling 574-1919.
Testing happens from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through Friday.
Signs of the virus include fever, cough and difficulty breathing.
