Officials from Medical Teams International are conducting COVID-19 testing this week in Yakima. The testing is free and you do not need an appointment.
You can also pick up an at-home test kit for other people in your home who can't get to the testing sites. Remember the at-home test kits require that you take your own nasal sample and mail it to a lab on the same day. You'll also need internet and email access to use the at-home kit.
Along with the testing sites Yakima Health District officials also say testing is available through local doctors. A news release from the health district says "Testing is recommended for anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms, has been in close contact with someone with COVID-19, or is concerned about a potential exposure to the virus.  Anyone who gets tested should self-isolate until they receive their results."
