County Officials Hoping to Hear From Governor This Week

Nothing from Governor Jay Inslee's office last week on whether capacity at local churches can be increased in Yakima County.
Yakima County officials held a meeting with Governor Jay Inslee last Monday hoping he'll give the ok to allow more capacity in local churches.
Currently churches in Yakima County under the modified Phase 1 of the state's reopening plan are limited to 25% or 50 people. Many churches in Yakima have much larger congregations. Churches are already operating with COVID-19 restrictions. County officials are hoping to hear something from the governor's office this week.
