Did you vote in the primary election? The Yakima County Auditors office says of the 103,000 ballots sent out for Tuesday's primary election, only about 33 percent were returned on election night. Yakima County Auditor Corky Mattingly was predicting 47 percent. Mattingly says it could be the early August primary that people aren't yet used to, or just the fact that people are busy this summer and forgot to vote. More ballots are being counted today, and they'll continue to count ballots until the election is certified on August 21. Mattingly says she doesn't expect the count to change any election races or issues.
