Candidate Comparison – Challenger Tracy Rushing (D) 14th Dist.

Dr. Tracy Rushing is originally from Virginia but now calls White Salmon, WA.  home along with her Dr. husband and three young kids.  She's an emergency room doctor who is taking her first run at public office.  As she tells it, her interest isn't necessarily in the partisan day to day political squabbles but in the the system wide, big picture, programs like healthcare, the environment and education.

She appeared as a guest on KIT's Morning News program and gave us a doctor's view of the state's covid-19 response and a surprising take on taxes.
