Can You Help During Giving Tuesday Now?

Officials at Yakima's Salvation Army are hoping you're in the giving mood on Tuesday. That's because Tuesday is #givingtuesdaynow
defined as a day global day of giving and unity.
Lisa Sargent is the Community Engagement Coordinator says they're looking for donations for their food bank which is overwhelmed during the pandemic. She says they're looking for donations of bottled water and non-perishable food; peanut butter, canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, and kid friendly snacks.
Salvation Army officials will be accepting donations at the the south parking lot at 9 south 6th Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
