Call Center Downtown Yakima To Close In September

A call center in downtown Yakima is closing leaving 168 people without jobs this coming fall. Arvato Call Center at 399 East Yakima Avenue in the JEM Building will close on September 28. A smaller group of employees will stay with the company until October 15. A news release didn't give a reason why the center is closing. The center has been in operation for more than 5 years.
