Bureau Of Indian Affairs Busy With Controlled Burns Tuesday

Officials from the Bureau of Indian Affairs are busy in the South part of Yakima Tuesday burning brush to prevent big fires around the 4th of July. Large smoke plumes can be see on the ridge as officials burn fields of dry grass and brush so they don't have to put out big fires in the future. Fire officials call it controlled burning.
