Being A Dad Seen As A Guy’s Top Job
With no dragons to slay, new lands to conquer or crusades to conduct, a new Rasmussen survey of 1,000 American Adults
shows a majority of respondents believe fatherhood is a man’s most important roll.
Rasmussen reports a national telephone and online survey shows that 70% say being a father is the most important role for a man to fill in today’s world. Just 17% disagree, but 13% are not sure. At the same time just 19% think Father’s Day is one of the nation’s most important holidays. So dad is great, just don’t make a big deal out of it!
Those numbers have remained constant over the past decade while at the same time just 47% see motherhood as a woman’s most important role, even though 25% think Mother’s day is one of our most important holidays!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads this Sunday!
