Ballot Counting Expected To Finish On Friday

Challenger Jim Curtice continues to extend his lead over incumbent Yakima County Coroner Jack Hawkins in the latest ballot count on Wednesday. Curtice now leads 51 to 47 percent with a more than 1400 vote lead. More counting is happening Thursday and Friday. All the ballots are expected to be counted by Friday afternoon.
The election will be certified on November 27.
