Bail Set At $1 Million For Drive By Shooting Suspect
Last Monday 14-year-old Kabin Smith of Union Gap was shot dead in a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Cornell Avenue and West King Street. Monday the A 23-year-old man police say pulled the trigger made an appearance in Yakima County Superior Court where bail was set at $1 million. Luiz Barrera was arrested last Friday at a Yakima home by members of the Pacific Northwest Violent Offenders Task Force and Yakima Police. Barrera, who's sitting in the Yakima County Jail Today is charged with first degree murder for the drive by shooting death of Kabin Smith.
