ATF Offers $10,000 Reward For Information On Arson Fire
The Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of the person responsible for a fire at Fruit Packers Supply in Yakima earlier this month that caused $20 million in damage. Robert Almgren is the ATF Agent in Charge in Yakima who says so far the leads have been few so they're hoping a reward will push someone to talk. "The people that commit big fires like this are ones that like to brag about it. They like to talk about it. So we're hoping the $10,000 we're hoping it will elicit someone to come forward to talk about it."
If you know anything contact the ATF at 1-888-atf-tips.
Other rewards are also being offered by the Arson Alarm Foundation and Crime Stoppers. Yakima County Crime Stoppers can be reached at 248-9980 and the Arson Alarm Foundation 1-800-55-arson.
