The township named after a railroad president's daughter is celebrating one hundred years as an incorporated Yakima Valley City with a special edition of it's annual Community Days.

Zillah, Washington has it's roots in common with other valley cities: irrigation and the railroad.

Zillah's Centennial Community Days celebration starts tonight with the Miss Zillah Pageant at 6:30pm at Intermediate School.
May 13th - Talent contest at 7pm, followed by fireworks at 9pm at Stewart Park.
May 14th Lions Club Breakfast in the Park begins at 6am followed by parade at 11am.
Family activities at the park concluding with a movie at 7pm.
