The Yakima Valley Community College Engineering Department  will host an Engineering Day for Kids on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 1p.m. in the Hopf Union Building.

This event will feature hands-on activities to help children explore the connections between math, science, and engineering.

Does your child like to solve problems, work puzzles, and figure out how things work? Do they “think outside the box” when playing or creating? If so, this workshop is for your child.

Engineer’s Week is held every year to promote the many aspects of engineering to the youth in the community.
