Yakima’s Harman Center Offers Christmas Competition and Fun

It's the next best thing to a trip to the North Pole!  Pictures with Santa, a hot cocoa bar and holiday crafts are all part of the City of Yakima Harman Center’s second annual “Santa’s Workshop and Lego Village Competition” event.

In the spirit of Santa, the event is free and run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

Contestants must pre-register for the Lego Village Competition contest by Thursday, Dec. 5 either at the Harman Center’s front desk at 101 N. 65th Ave. or by calling 575-6166.

The theme for this year is a medieval winter village Lego contest and organizers hope for a turnout of parents, grandparents and children all having fun together with Legos.
