At one time, Yakima Mayor Micah Cawley wanted to become the president of the United States. But after 10 years on the Yakima City Council, Cawley's priorities have changed-- especially after dealing with a messy lawsuit involving the ACLU over the past year. Because of that case -- which is forcing the city to redraw its voting districts -- his current term as mayor is being cut short.

Cawley says he is not planning to run for the council again. He plans to focus on going back to school, learning the sales side of radio and will marry his fiancee, Kristina, this fall.
