Yakima Health Officials Warn of Hepatitis A Outbreak

The Yakima Health District is warning of an outbreak of Hepatitis A. District officials say five people have tested positive for the virus. All are part of the homeless or illicit drug user population. District officials say the concern is that there may have been an exposure at Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen on Nob Hill Blvd. in Yakima between October 23 and October 31.
Officials at Popeye's have since cleaned and disinfected the restaurant.
If you were in the restaurant during that time district officials say make sure you have been vaccinated against Hepatitis A or get the vaccination soon.
