Apparently some county residents already have their minds made up for the August primary election.

Yakima County Elections Manager Kathy Fisher says of the 54,000 ballots sent out last week about 3,200 ballots have already been returned to the Auditors office. Fisher says the ballots are lean.

Voters in Yakima are being asked to vote for City Council races and a change in the city charter to fund roads. City council races are also on the ballot in Sunnyside. Toppenish has a school board race and fire protection district 2 has a commissioner position on the ballot.

Fisher says don't forget to sign the ballot. They're due in the Auditors office by August 6th, Primary Election day.
