Sixty percent of people in the US are still participating in the tradition of buying a real tree versus the artificial one. Although the smell of pine is wonderful during the holiday season, looking for a place to dispose of it can be a bit of a hassel. Well, look no more! Barnett Implement and Camp Prime Time are teaming up for the 22nd annual Christmas Tree Recycling Event.

By bringing your used Chrismas tree (with all ornaments removed of course!) to Barnett Implement at 3110 Fruitvale Blvd and dropping it off, you can participate in this fundrasing event that has helped raise several thousand dollars for Camp Prime Time. The retired Christmas tree is sent through the chipper and the chips are then sold. All proceeds go to Camp Prime Time.

This event will begin on December 26th and continue until January 8th. Volunteers will be at Barnett Implement for 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. For more information about this event and information on volunteering please call the Camp Prime Time office at (509) 248-2854.
