This weekend, the Yakima Valley Trolley offers a pair of special events celebrating Irish culture, history, and community spirit.

Specifically the council will discuss the project to repair and upgrade 6th Avenue.

If the Yakima City Council doesn't approve a new operating agreement Tuesday the Yakima Valley Trolleys will stop rolling in Yakima.

The Yakima Valley Trolley railroad is the last historically intact early 20th Century electric interurban railroad in existence.

Tickets are $7 per person and the rides begin at 10:00 am and continue to 3:00 pm.
