U.S. potato exports

More than 18,000 cattle were killed last week in an explosion at a dairy farm in the Texas Panhandle, the countries deadliest such fire on record.

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack met with his counterpart in Mexico last week to announce the opening of Mexico to U.S. potato exports by May 15.

U.S. potato exports found an upswing during the 2019-20 first quarter. This continues the growth seen at the end of the last marketing year, despite of trade issues in Asia.
