The victim was taken to a Yakima hospital to be treated for serious stab wounds.

Yakima Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says 55-year-old Mikel Ochoa and the suspect had a dispute over some private property at about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Queen Avenue and Macleren Street.

Police say the girl was in a fight with a 14-year-old girl when the stabbing happened.

Prosecutors say the investigation continues into the stabbing of 46-year-old Carlos Meza but at this time no charges are being filed.
